Mourvedre is a fascinating grape and the epitome are the earthy, complex wines of Bandol. It smells like no other grape with funky, barnyard, tobacco, earth and wet dog aromas. This wine is more fruit forward, medium bodied and extremely smooth on the finish. It is a beautiful summer day quaffing wine. ..."
